How to get to Berlin

Berlin is easily accessible!

By train

Use the train for your travel. Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) is the largest interchange station in Europe and is situated in the immediate vicinity of the government district. Additional long-distance train stations serve as hubs for local and long-distance transport, providing a high degree of flexibility.

From any DB station to our event, with the City-Ticket included (Please note that this offer is not available for international train travel, DB event ticket is a domestic German product. Airport information
More than 2700 flights a week land in Berlin, with 52 international and 7 national airlines offering 154 connections to 50 countries – among them low-cost airlines such as Easyjet, Germanwings, and Ryanair. So, the chances of finding yourself a suitable flight in the capital are pretty good. But how to find the fastest way to the city center?

BER Airport is connected to the rail and road network. Airport Express and regional trains run together four times an hour from the airport station to Berlin Central Station. The railway station is located in Terminal 1 on level U2. The bus stops A 1-8 for local buses are located on the arrivals level of T1. From there, Terminal 2 is also just a few minutes' walk away; follow the signs.

In addition, the S-Bahns S9 and S45 run every 20min from station "BER Airport" to Berlin city centre.

You can find more detailed information on Berlin’s airport under www.berlin-airport.de.

Offset your CO2 emissions

If you cannot or do not want to do without your car, or if you travel by plane, you can offset your CO2 emissions. Unfortunately, it is not always so easy to find the right project for a donation or the right kind of carbon offset scheme. But when it comes to choosing the most effective CO2-reducing projects, such worldwide organisations as Global Changer can help.

In Berlin

Use public transportation (BVG  www.bvg.de). Use environmentally compatible, rent a bike, public means of transportation or walk to the different event locations.
